To get a foothold, I also leveled a Bannerman and an Alchemist to Legendary on Eden.
What I wish I had known beforehand to save myself from making Excel sheets and the like:
You can partially automate crafting using the command ‘Craftqueue’.
/craftqueue 3
Would perform the next crafting task three times.
/craftqueue buy 3
Would buy the items for the current crafting task three times. For the game to know which crafting task is active, you need to ‘click on’ it once. You’ll get a message saying you’re missing materials. If you then enter /craftqueue buy 3, the game knows what you want to craft and buys the materials for three attempts. You need to have the correct vendor targeted for this.
/macro UPTO5 /craftqueue buy upto 5
So, I made myself some Macros or the things I craft repeatedly, using
/macro Kauf10 /craftqueue buy 10
/macro Mach10 /craftqueue 10
Now I can craft these faster and more easily. This obviously saves a lot of time and mental effort (calculating the materials needed for X attempts).
This makes leveling crafting easier for the next crafters 🙂
Once you’ve improved your crafting skill accordingly, you might want to create an item of a certain quality. As an experienced crafter, you know that the higher the quality, the more attempts it takes. However, you can use the /craftqueue command to specify that crafting should only proceed up to a certain quality level.
/craftqueue <96-100>%
So, if you want to keep crafting until you reach a 99% quality item, use the command:
/craftqueue 99%
once an item with the desired quality is reached, the queue stops.
If you use Zenkcraft for the Eden server, you can use our Spellcrafting tool.
